Login

You can log in using your ooVoo or Facebook account details. If your first login is done via Facebook, you will automatically receive an ooVoo account using details published on Facebook such as your display picture and user name.

By logging in you can communicate with your friends (participate in an ooVoo video call, text chat, send and receive video messages and files, etc.).

If you do not have an ooVoo account yet, it's recommended to click Sign up for ooVoo. You can also connect with Facebook and automatically create an ooVoo account

To log into ooVoo:

1. If you already created your ooVoo account, click on the ooVoo icon located in the task bar notification area next to the clock or double-click on the ooVoo icon on your desktop or select it from the Start menu. If the ooVoo icon does not appear in the task bar notification area, search for ooVoo in the Windows Start menu.
2. Enter your email or ooVoo ID in the first field and your password in the second field.
   If you have numbers in your password and enter them using the number pad on your keyboard, then make sure the number lock key is pressed.
   Make sure that you type the password in the same letter case (using uppercase and lowercase letters).
   If you are using a public computer, make sure the Keep me logged in option is not checked.
   
3. Click Log In. You will be logged in and your status will be displayed to your friends.
   You can logout and return to the login window by selecting Log Out from the ooVoo menu.
   If you failed to log in or your connection was lost, the system will try to log you in from time to time. If you want to try to log in quicker, simply click Log In.
   If you want to see your Facebook contacts, after logging into ooVoo, click the Facebook tab and click Connect with Facebook. Upon connecting with Facebook your ooVoo account will be automatically linked so you will be able to see both your ooVoo contacts and Facebook friends the next time you login.
   

To login with Facebook:

1. If you already created your ooVoo account, click on the ooVoo icon located in the task bar notification area next to the clock or double-click on the ooVoo icon on your desktop or select it from the Start menu. If the ooVoo icon does not appear in the task bar notification area, search for ooVoo in the Windows Start menu.
2. Click Connect with Facebook. The Facebook login page appears. Enter your login details. A page asks to share your information.
   If you are using a public computer, make sure the Keep me logged in option is not checked.
3. Click Allow. The following options are available.
   • To link your existing ooVoo account, click Link accounts, enter your email or ooVoo ID and password. Click Link accounts. Your account will be linked and you can see your ooVoo contacts and Facebook contacts by clicking on the relevant tab.
   • Click Start ooVoo in order to enter ooVoo without linking your account. You will be able to communicate with your Facebook contacts and also to add ooVoo contacts. You can link to an existing ooVoo account from the ooVoo menu.
     
4. A congratulations page appears to let you know that you now have an ooVoo account linked to your Facebook account. You will see your Facebook friends in the ooVoo contact list. If you have another ooVoo account, it's recommended to link your account in order to see your ooVoo contacts.
   You can unlink the accounts by selecting Unlink from Facebook from the ooVoo menu.
